Restaurant Kitchen Manager
Position Summary
As a Restaurant Kitchen Manager you will report to the General Manager. You will be responsible for effectively managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. As the Kitchen Manager you will be responsible for maintaining a customer oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement and high performance.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop and maintain an effective internal and external communication system
- Organize and chair kitchen meetings
- Act as liaison to outside restaurant guest and agents
- Maintain inventory control
- Maintain cost control
- Oversee recruitment and staffing of restaurant
- Conduct employee orientations and development training's
- Develop and maintain an employee assessment system
- Develop and maintain all policies and procedures of restaurant
- Develop and maintain a maintenance control system
- Develop and maintain an effective Health and Safety system
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and county regulations

Education
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- 1 – 3 years experience preferred

Physical Requirements
- Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
- Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operates phones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment.
